Nicole Kibert Basler is a freelance photographer based in Atlanta, GA (formerly of Tampa, FL) working under the moniker of elawgrrl. Nicole specializes in live music photography and enjoys capturing the essence and movement of performances. Nicole is a frequent contributor to publications including regular contributions to Suburban Apologist and Creative Loafing and special contributions to Razorcake (US), Washington Post, Time Out Chicago, NME (UK), VISIONS (GER), Manual Dexterity, Huck Magazine (UK), Hysteria (AUS), Tampa Bay Times, Orlando Weekly, Tampa Tribune, Gainesville Sun, Florida Alligator, REAX (US) and Gravedigger (US). In addition, Nicole’s photos have appeared in gallery exhibits, band albums and CDs, websites, blogs, and of course, Facebook and Tumblr. In past lives, Nicole was the music director and DJ for WRGW (GWU college radio station), a show promoter, zine writer, music reviewer for really, really swank publications and an undefeated Ms. PacMan champion.
